Money or Fame by Ajla Angjeli
Famous people are often paid large amounts of money. They provide significant entertainment, contributing to cultural enrichment while also offering an escape from daily routines. Their performances inspire, bring joy and bonding among their friends.
Famous individuals such as actors, musicians, influencers play a significant role in providing entertainment to the crowds. Celebrities’ appearing can draw massive audiences to movies, concerts and different types of events. This influence is conveyed not only to them but also to the industries they represent, coming out as an important factor in their high earnings.
However, it is essential to acknowledge the hard work and dedication that many famous people invest in their careers. Their journey to fame is often chastised with several challenges and sacrifices they have to make in order to make a name for themselves, including busy schedules, intense trainings and little to no privacy. They have to endure consistent pressure to deliver high quality performances meticulously, due to the fact that they are under and on-going scrutiny so sacrifices are inevitable parts of their career.
Despite these considerations, the gap between famous people and ordinary workers is unfortunately very large. Healthcare workers, teachers, emergency workers and those in professional fields play crucial roles that have an impact on the overall functioning of our society, yet they still earn less than celebrities.
In my opinion, while appreciating the value of entertainment and effort that celebrities gift our society, we must also create a balance so those in essential professions can be as greatly rewarded for their contributions. By doing this, we cultivate a fair society that acknowledges the importance of all roles played in it.
