“H&D Consultancy” is a dynamic independent institution specializing in assisting students in pursuing their higher education studies in colleges and universities abroad. The belief that only a generation of Albanians educated in colleges and universities in Western Countries can help make Albania an integrated and globalized country is the foundation and mission that is pervasive in all our daily activities.
We assist our members by consulting them on Academic Exams such as IELTS, Cambridge Exams like Cambridge Preliminary, Cambridge First, Cambridge Advanced, LanguageCert etc. An amount of time, resources and expertise has been dedicated to Academic English as a gateway to an abundance of academic reading and critical thinking resources now available globally and which have become a must in intellectual advancement of every citizen.All in all, “H&D Consultancy” is about making the lifelong process of learning an easier and pleasurable journey. As a famous poet wrote about Odysseus “it’s all about the journey, not the destination”.
FOUNDERHEKTOR ÇIFTJA
Hektor Çiftja was born 1973, in the two thousand year old city of Elbasan, widely renowned for the tradition in teacher training and the profound and massive fascination with kids, books, and education. Elbasan is just 30 minutes drive from the Capital of Albania, Tirana
A former Fulbright Visiting Scholar, in 2003, He is a strong believer in the role of education as the most powerful agent in the advancement in Albanian society and civilization in general he now is a full-time senior lecturer in the university “A. Xhuvani”, Elbasan, teaching subject in communication studies, media and Literary Criticism.
His academic interests and publications include Linguistics of English Language, Albanian authors who have written and published in English Language, especially the authors who have left a mark in the English-Speaking Academia.
He is the author of many scientific papers and published in both in the Albanian language as well as English Language.
He has participated with his research papers in numerous national and International Conferences.
He is happy to provide any interested individual with a detailed list of his publications.
Hektor has also been very outspoken and active in local public sphere, being an active member of the City Council for more than 10 Years now.
He is married to Diamanta Vito-Çiftja and they have a son named Erik
CO-FOUNDERDIAMANTA ÇIFTJA
Diamanta Vito-Çiftja, a former Chevening scholar who specialises in Public Administration Training is a full-time member in “The Center for Scientific Research in Law and Economics” as well as a national consultant on Local Government and Gender Responsive Budgeting.
Her background involves working for several foreign Development agencies and Organisation for more than 30 years. Currently, she is also working on a research paper for her Doctoral Theses in an international joint research program between School of Public Administration in Ljubljana, Slovenia and Economic School in Rijeka, Croatia She is also the co-founder of the “H&D Consultancy”.
