Most of english-speaking people have read and enjoyed “the Secret Garden” both in school and in the movies. A great book, inspiring, thought provoking (or at least, this is what my teacher preaches). Above all, it’s a book about the enjoyment of life when in contact with nature. I have read so many books of that sort, and many movies of that topic have left me crying with inner joy. I have always wished I was living in that phantasy world. But does such an idyllic world really exists? If it did, I would find it very boring, wouldn’t you?
Let’s face the truth. Many young people have chosen cities as essential places to thrive, due to their beneficial aspects such as better work opportunities, quality education and their vibrant cultural identity. In this essay,I am going to highlight the significance of these factors, which many people seek in their path to the big cities.
Work opportunities are a great point as to why people want to move. Big cities or cities in general offer a greater range of jobs than small towns or villages and the workers are more appreciated. They offer better health ensurance, better quality of working conditions and the employees get rewarded a fair income. This way, individuals are promised safety and adequate financial circumstances, which are vital especially for big families.
Great forms of education are another benefit which add to why young people see cities as better places to live in.Due to their approach towards technology improvements and advancements, cities have upgraded their education tools such as schools, universities, summer schools, colleges etc im alleviating career choices for students and by giving them several choices and practising opportunities, education acquaintances would help youngsters by directing them in a confident and bright future. These educational institutions attract students from all over the world, cultivating a multicultural and vibrant community which offers them personal growth.
All in all,the migration of young people to cities comes as a combination of employment opportunities, quality education and vivid cultural, social life that cities offer. In my opinion, out of all these factors employment stands as the most significant one, because it provides economical benefits, careeer prospects and financial independence. As cities grow and evolve, they will likely continue being attractive destinations for young people seeking to build a successful career and enrich their lives.
So my dear reader, please read books and enjoy movies like “the Secret Garden”, but remember that the authors, directors, actors, have been doing all this great writing and film-producing in the big cities themselves. Even the fictional characters themselves, if they weren’t fictional, and if they were asked to tell the truth, be sure the answers would not but be “The Secret Gared” is for holidays only.
