Factors which influence out consumer choices by Belkisa Muço
For many years, we as a society have been probing for specific things, starting from how affordable it is all the way to how desirable it is. Although there is a lot more thought to put in about the fact on why we choose to make these purchases.
Most certainly peer pressure is most likely to make us determined to make a purchase. Seeing peers endorsing a product, makes it more likely for you to feel compelled to inform and make a similar purchase. Moreover, peer pressure will start to engage in risky behavior, compromising personal values, or experiencing a feeling of guilt or regret, which affects our choices.
Another influence on us about consumer choices are celebrities. Many celebrities open their own firm, whilst others sponsor different marks. Either way, seeing your favorite celebrity using or endorsing a particular product creates a sense of trust and reliability. This phenome influences our consumer choice behavior, as individuals tend to believe that if a product is good enough for their favorite celebrity, it must be worth trying. However, this leads to favoritism, based on how much you like the celebrity, rather than the product itself. This also leads to the company having decreases in finance.
As researchers have proven, about the fact on which factor has the most influence to our consumer choice, are celebrities. Although, when you give it a deeper thought, despite the fact of how much we want to live a similar life like our favorite celebrity, we are mostly associated with peers more often, rather than being knowledgeable about celebrities, which is why peer pressure brings the most influence to us.
